As historians chronicle the evolution of mountaineering following Sir. Edmund Hillary's first successful ascent of Mt. Everest there are several names that are consistently mentioned. Dick Bass, the first person to climb all seven continent's highest peaks and relate them to us in his book "Seven Summits". David Breashears, first to chronicle extreme altitude accomplishments using film formats as large as IMAX. His movie "IMAX Everest" is the most successful IMAX film ever produced and he is equally renowned for authoring "High Exposure: An Enduring Passion for Everest and Unforgiving Places" and "Last Climb: The Legendary Everest Expedition of George Mallory".
